Faith properties hold transformative potential across Africa
Relèven is expanding its model of convening municipalities, foundations, faith-based organizations, and nonprofits around the opportunity of faith-related land — now on the African continent, in partnership with Cape Town-based Relativ Impact.
This work is African-led. The invitation came from Africa's impact investing community, and the initiative will be driven by African leaders with the vision and experience to shape it for decades to come.
What this looks like
Relèven's services — placemaking for congregations and dioceses, project financing, and stakeholder convening — will be available across Africa through a partnership between Relèven International and the new Africa-based team spearheaded by Relativ Impact.
We are starting with a co-created approach: a shared space for learning, collaboration, and bi-directional exchange among key leaders from across the continent.
Coming This November
In November 2026, we are co-hosting an invite-only stakeholder roundtable in Cape Town — a gathering of key decision-makers focused on building the relationships needed for long-term impact.
Investors can also access the Relèven Transition Fund, made available through our partnership with Otipey, to support this work across Africa.
